U.S. 5th in race for 2018/2022
With 300 days until the FIFA decision on the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, the World Football Insider Bid Power Index shows the strengths and weaknesses of the 10 bids.
England has taken the early lead in the first edition of the WFI Bid Power Index. Russia is the nearest European challenger, but Australia is closer still and is the country to watch in the coming months as the race heads to a finish Dec. 2.

Great U7 Tournament

It was a very exciting U7 BW Gottschee Indoor tournament this year with Gottschee Ireland and Gottschee Italy making it to the final. After being down 3-1 in the first half the very fast and skilled Gottschee Italy came back to win it 6-4. Jack McGlynn, Steve Rasizzi, Joe Pennolino, Shai Azoulay and the tournament MVP goal keeper Tommy Rasizzi all played great

Gottschee GU11 - CJSL Fall 09 Undefeated Champions

The GU11 team had an outstanding outdoor season, breezing through almost all of their games. The offense scored 52 times highlighted by Maia Cabreras' 20 and Medina Mulic's 14. The defense conceeded only 7 goals along with 5 shutouts and helped the the girls go 9-0 on the season. Good off-season training and an increase in competition for the spring is the challenge ahead and Gottschee seems ready for it.

The girls started their U11 tournament season with split results. First off was a decent 3rd place finish in the highly competitive Columbus Day North Hempstead Cup, which was highlighted by a 4-1 win over LIJSL 1st division Syosset Red Devils and a close 2-1 loss to Middle Country Maniacs. That was followed by a shorthanded second place finish in the Rough Riders Thanksgiving Weekend Tournamant.
